Born and raised in Rome, Gregorio Franchetti graduated with an MFA degree in directing and screenwriting at Columbia University in New York in 2018, following his bachelor studies at SOAS University of London. Lobster Dinner, his graduation film, premiered at the the 68th Berlin International Film Festival where it was awarded a special mention by the Generation K+ International Jury. Gregorio currently lives in Rome where he is developing a feature film set between Italy and the UK.
